Before making a payment, ensure you have checked your bill and verified the amount. You will need your 14-digit reference number for all payment methods.
⚠️ Payment Safety Warning
Never pay your bill to individuals via personal JazzCash, Easypaisa, or bank transfers. Only use official payment channels listed below. If someone asks you to pay through a personal account, it is likely a scam.
Mobile Wallets
JazzCash
- Open the JazzCash app and log in
- Tap "Bill Payments" from the home screen
- Select "Electricity"
- Choose "MEPCO" from the list
- Enter your 14-digit reference number
- Tap "Fetch" to view the bill amount
- Verify the details and confirm the payment
You will receive a confirmation notification with a transaction ID. Keep this for your records.
Easypaisa
- Open the Easypaisa app and log in
- Tap "Bills" or "Bill Payments"
- Select "Electricity"
- Search for and select "MEPCO"
- Enter your 14-digit reference number
- Tap "Fetch Bill" to view the amount
- Select "Pay Now" to complete the transaction
Online Banking
Most major banks in Pakistan offer MEPCO bill payment through their mobile apps and internet banking portals. The general process is similar across banks:
- Log in to your bank's mobile app or internet banking
- Navigate to "Bill Payments" or "Payments"
- Select "Utility Bills" → "Electricity"
- Choose "MEPCO"
- Enter your 14-digit reference number
- Confirm the bill amount and due date
- Authenticate with PIN/OTP and submit
Your payment will typically reflect within 24-48 hours. Keep the transaction confirmation for your records.
Bank Branches & Post Office
You can pay your MEPCO bill at any authorized bank branch by presenting your paper bill or duplicate bill at the counter. Many post office branches in the MEPCO service area also accept electricity bill payments.
Bring your original or duplicate bill along with the exact payment amount. The bank teller will process the payment and provide you with a stamped receipt.
Authorized Retail Agents
If you do not have a bank account or mobile wallet, you can visit any authorized JazzCash or Easypaisa retail agent. Provide them with your 14-digit reference number and cash payment. They will process the payment through their system and provide a receipt.
Look for shops displaying the JazzCash or Easypaisa logo in your area.
Payment Tips
- Pay before the due date to avoid late surcharges. The due date is printed on your bill.
- Always get a receipt or transaction confirmation, regardless of the payment method.

- Keep records of your payment receipts for at least 6 months in case of disputes.
- Check payment status after 48 hours by viewing your next bill online to confirm the payment was applied.
